Photo vouchers of vascular plants recorded at Tinago Falls, Lanao del Norte

This dataset contains photographic voucher images for vascular plant taxa recorded during a multi-taxon biodiversity inventory of Tinago Falls, a waterfall site spanning Iligan City and the Municipality of Linamon, Lanao del Norte, Philippines. Photographs were taken in the field to document diagnostic morphological characters (e.g., leaf morphology, growth form, bark characteristics, reproductive structures) supporting species identification, instead of collecting physical specimens to minimize disturbance at this heavily visited and partly cliff-bound site. Photos are organized by plant family and species. An accompanying spreadsheet (Flora_TFP_Voucher_Index.xlsx) cross-references each taxon's assigned voucher code (TF-001 to TF-173) to its corresponding photo filename(s), family, and taxonomic group. Photographic vouchers were obtained for 51 of the 173 total taxa recorded at the site; the remaining taxa were identified through direct field verification and are indicated as such in the index. This dataset supports the manuscript "Biodiversity baseline for ecotourism planning of Tinago Falls, Lanao del Norte, Philippines," submitted to Biodiversitas: Journal of Biological Diversity, documenting the vascular plant and vertebrate biodiversity of Tinago Falls.
