COD Parcel POI Points

Data Use: This point-layer of parcels within the City of Dallas is used to visualize a heat concentration of acres that could be used for Urban Agriculture. These parcel centroids were derived from parcel polygons, used in the webmap, COD Social Health UA. The heat layer is used for the visualization of acre concentration; and the points are used to calculate acres within Census Tracts and City Council Districts. Parcels within flood zones are excluded. Any parcel that is marked for urban agriculture potential is noted as a Parcel of Interest (POI), marked as a "1" in the attribute table under the POI field.
