French National Addresses

The BAN dataset (National Address Database) contains 2 addresses and localities views containing the complete addresses of all the municipalities of the metropolitan and the overseas french departments. This data will allow you to correct or update your data based on a single repository, recognized by the French administration.

Views Included:
- v_ADDRESSES: All the complete addresses of the communes of France and Overseas France
- v_LIEUX_DITS: All the addresses of localities of France and Overseas France

- id_fantoir : FANTOIR identifier
- numero : Street number
- rep : index associated with the street number
- nom_voie : Name of the street in lower case
- code_postal : Postal code
- code_insee: INSEE code of the current municipality based on the official geographic
- code_departement: INSEE code of the department
- libelle_departement : Department name
- code_region: INSEE code of the region
- libelle_region: Region name
- nom_commune: Official name of the municipality
- code_insee_ancienne : INSEE code of the former commune where the address is located
- nom_ancienne_commune : Name of the former commune where the address is located
- x : Map coordinates in legal projection
- y : Map coordinates in legal projection
- lon : Longitude in WGS-84
- lat: Latitude in WGS-84
- libelle_acheminement : Name of the routing commune
- nom_afnor : Name of the route according to the postal standard
- source_position: Source of the geographical position. Possible values (municipality, cadastre, arcep, laposte, insee, sdis, unknown)
- source_nom_voie: Source of the name of the lane. Possible values (municipality, cadastre, arcep, laposte, insee, sdis, unknown)
