This viewer is available through CT ECO, a partnership between CT DEEP and UConn CLEAR. Description The Connecticut Coastal Hazards Viewer is an online mapping tool designed to allow users access to several pertinent suites of data for coastal Connecticut. Presented are layers representing sea level rise, high-resolution coastal elevation, hurricane storm surge, coastal erosion, environmental observations such as tides, water quality, waves and currents and more. Use To use the viewer, use the Layer List (right side) to expand groups and turn on and off layers (remember to turn OFF the ones above on the list or they will hide layers below) in order to compare and explore. Clicking on a feature on the map may open a pop-up with additional information. Refer to Viewer Help for more details and tips. Tips The Coastal Hazards Viewer Layers page has desricptions of the layers in the viewer including links to metadata and services.
