An MDA programme is simulated which uses a short-acting ACT with 80% coverage (before exclusion of pregnant women) in 3 areas with different initial transmission levels: high (baseline slide-prevalence = 50%), medium (baseline slide-prevalence = 15%) and low (baseline slide-prevalence = 5%). Results are shown for scenarios which have no seasonal variation in transmission (as in Figure 1A).
