Effect of body size and temperature on water loss and metabolic rate in the polymorphic seed-harvesting ant Messor barbarus

The data and script presented related to a study in which respirometry was used to investigate the effect of both temperature and body mass, taken as a proxy of body size, on the general activity, percentage of water loss and metabolic rate of individual workers of the polymorphic Mediterranean seed harvester ant Messor barbarus.
