Ocean acoustic low-frequency spectrum level measurements

This data file contains 1-minute resolution spectrum level measurements in the one-third octave band centered at 63 Hz, used to quantify shipping noise in the ocean for a study of COVID impacts. The measurement location is on the continental slope off central California (https://www.mbari.org/at-sea/cabled-observatory/). Each measurement has an associated year and month, as required for comparison of ambient noise in the same month across years. Original sound recordings are also publicly available for reproducibility and extensibility of the research.
