"Bilder von der bemalten Hüttenwand." ("Pictures painted on the wall of the hut."). Geometric figures and animals, a giraffe and a snake, are recognizable. Written on the wall in Swahili: "Twiga yaliyomo" ("A giraffe is inside").; Cf. photo no. 10335 and no. 10336. -- Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
