The clinical Molecular Microbiology Laboratory at UW Medicine provides diagnostic testing for cases of suspected leishmaniasis with taxonomic identification to the rank of species complex or individual species. Testing began Sept 2021. This bioproject serves as a repository of mini-exon (spliced leader) sequences detected by the clinical laboratory, with emphasis on those not previously reported in public databases.
