ERSC2240H - Tree Count Lady Eaton Drumlin 2025FA

Dataset containing results from two methods of tree counting (point quarter & prism sweep) in several areas of the Lec drumlin. Collected by students as part of lab work in the ERSC 2240 course. Collected in fall 2025. Layers: Estimated_Location : Point layer containing singular given coordinate data Point_Quarter_Method : Polygon layer created from 100 m buffer of Estimated_Location layer and contains data associated with the point quarter method Prism_Method_UpperForest : Polygon layer containing data associated with the prism method in the “upper forest”. Location is rough estimate Prism_Method_ValleyForest : Polygon layer containing data associated with the prism method in the “valley forest”. Location is rough estimate.本数据集包含莱克鼓丘（Lec drumlin）多个区域内两种树木计数方法：点四分法（point quarter）与棱镜样带法（prism sweep）的实测结果。数据由ERSC 2240课程的学生作为课程实验作业采集，采集时间为2025年秋季。数据集包含以下要素图层： 1. Estimated_Location：点要素图层，存储单个给定坐标数据； 2. Point_Quarter_Method：多边形要素图层，由Estimated_Location图层构建100米缓冲区生成，存储点四分法相关数据； 3. Prism_Method_UpperForest：多边形要素图层，存储“上部林分”区域内棱镜样带法的相关数据，点位为粗略估算值； 4. Prism_Method_ValleyForest：多边形要素图层，存储“山谷林分”区域内棱镜样带法的相关数据，点位为粗略估算值。
