The Wei River is the largest tributary of the Yellow River, and it is a first-order tributary located in the middle reaches of the Yellow River. This dataset comprises monthly average flow data from hydrological stations within the Wei River Basin. Specifically, it includes monthly average flow, annual runoff, annual runoff depth, annual runoff modulus, annual maximum flow and its occurrence time, as well as annual minimum flow and its occurrence time, for 44 hydrological stations in the Wei River Basin over the period 1956–1990. The measurement units of the dataset are as follows: monthly and annual average flow: m³/s; annual runoff: 10^8 m³; annual runoff depth: mm; annual maximum and minimum flow: m³/s. This dataset was compiled based on the monthly and annual average flow comparison tables extracted from the annual "Hydrological Data of the Yellow River Basin" published by the Hydrological Bureau of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China.
