资源简介:
The current dataset presents an empirical record of gender perception and workplace attitudes within educational institutions. Data were collected from 100 participants representing both rural and urban areas of Jaipur, India, including teachers, principals, administrators, and academic professionals. The survey sought to quantify attitudes toward working women in education through six thematic dimensions: Females’ Attitude Toward Working Women (FAT), Gender Stereotypes (GS), Socio-Cultural Factors (SC), Workplace Policies and Procedures (WPP), Workplace Discrimination (WD), and Working Women Empowerment (WWE). Each section contains six carefully designed Likert-scale items (1–5), resulting in a total of 36 variables that capture both perceptual and behavioral aspects of gender attitudes. Along with attitudinal data, comprehensive demographic variables—including age range, marital status, education level, occupation, institution type, and residential and institutional location—provide a multidimensional framework for analysis. The dataset thus enables comparative assessment across professional hierarchies and socio-spatial contexts (urban versus rural).Data collection was performed through structured questionnaires administered between June and August 2025 in private and government-affiliated educational institutes across Jaipur. Each participant’s response was anonymized and coded to maintain confidentiality. The dataset is provided in CSV and XLSX formats, ensuring compatibility with statistical and machine learning environments such as SPSS, R, and Python. Present dataset is intended to support quantitative and mixed-method research on gender equality, workplace inclusivity, educational sociology, and policy design. It serves as a reference point for analyzing gender dynamics in regional education systems of emerging economies and can also contribute to cross-cultural benchmarking studies on women’s participation and empowerment in academia.
