Cupriavidus necator strain NH9, a 3-chlorobenzoate-degrading bacterium, was isolated from soil in Japan. Transcriptome profiling of NH9 cultivated in benzoate and 3-chlorobenzoate was investigated using MiSeq short-read sequencing. Differential expression analysis may contribute to reveal the significant genes of NH9 against benzoate and 3-chlorobenzoate.
