We used whole genome shotgun sequencing to attain the complete mitochondrial genome and the ribosomal cluster of the two syllid species Ramisyllis multicaudata and Trypanobia sp. Based on the mapping of Illumina reads to single copy genes we approximated the genome size of each species.
