PacBio sequence genomic DNA BAC clone of metalloproteinase region from genus Crotalus

BAC clones spanning the SVMP genomic regions of four snakes were sequenced using Pacific Biosciences technology.Crotalus scutulatus (Mojave rattlesnake) (A-type venom),Crotalus horridus (Timber rattlesnake) (B-type venom),Crotalus atrox (Western Diamondback),Crotalus durissus terrificus (South American rattlesnake),The objective of this study was to determine the SVMP gene number and orientation in each species.
