To better understand the effect of TMAO and pressure to deep-sea bacterial community, we performed enrichment experiment under different conditions with sediment collected from the Mariana Trench and the Yap Trench and analyzed both bacterial community structure . Our results will extend the understanding of the significance of TMAO in bacterial adaptation to the deep-sea environment.
