<b>Heritability and genetic variability of reproduction-related reproductive</b><b> </b><b>traits in date palm (</b><b><i>Phoenix dactylifera</i></b><b> L.)</b>

This study used a set of 195 female date palm cultivars to investigate the phenotypic variability of reproductive traits. These cultivars came from twenty-two localities, each with diverse cropping environments, including different cultural practices, soil types, and irrigation conditions. The areas of study, Nefzaoua and Jerid, are separated by Chott El Jerid. The objective of the current study was to estimate geographic diversity of date palm populations in the continental oases, a part of two regions: Nefzaoua and Jerid
