Skepticism for genetic treatment to avoid an illness in Europe 2020, by country

According to a survey carried out in 2020, 58 percent of respondents in Switzerland would be opposed to an alteration of their genes to avoid developing a hereditary disease. Furthermore, over half of the respondents in Serbia, France, Austria, Finland, and Germany were skeptical of such a procedure, while the least reluctance was in Spain.
