Replication data and code for: Forecast-complexity limits and maintenance break-even screening for pumped storage using proxy condition data

Replication package for the manuscript submitted to Energy Reports. It contains every input, script and output needed to regenerate the reported numbers, including the eighteen-family robustness grid, the structural-break and regime diagnostics, the minimum-detectable-effect and equivalence tests, and the closed-form maintenance break-even module. Contents. 01_source_data holds the two public turbine friction records used as proxy condition series. 02_archived_series holds the archived index series, prediction files and model logs at the 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 threshold levels. 03_frozen_outputs holds the revision outputs and the exact figure data. 04_code holds the analysis and plotting scripts. 05_figures holds the figures as 600 dpi PNG and vector PDF. Reproduction. Running 04_code/run_v3_analysis.py on the archived inputs regenerates all reported scalars and tables; every resampling step is seeded, so intervals reproduce to the digit. A SHA-256 manifest is included. Scope. The turbine records are Swedish Kaplan data used as a proxy. No pumped-storage condition record is used, and no claim is made that the proxy series are field measurements at the target station. Break-even outputs are closed-form consequences of stated parameters, not accounting records.
