资源简介:
Xylella fastidiosa, a bacterial plant pathogen confined in the past to the Americas, recently emerged in Europe. It was first reported in natural settings in France from Polygala myrtifolia shrubs in Corsica in July 2015 and in south-eastern mainland France in October 2015. These ornamentals were symptomatic and presented severe leaf scorches. All contaminated samples from France presented bacteria belonging to X. fastidiosa subsp. multiplex, based on multiprimer PCR (Hernandez-Martinez et al., Phytopathol. 2006) analyses run on DNAs extracted from the infected plant samples. A MLST scheme was used to type these bacteria which are characterized by two X. fastidiosa subsp. multiplex bona fide sequence types, ST6 and ST7. Three strains were isolated from Polygala myrtifolia (CFBP 8416; ST7) and Spartium junceum (CFBP 8417 and CFBP 8418; ST6). The genomes of these strains were sequenced using the Illumina Mi-Seq technology.
