SGA 5 and SGA 6: Modern LaTeX Working Editions, French Source Workpasses, English and Spanish Translations, and Audit Materials

This is the reader-facing SGA working record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. It contains modern LaTeX working editions, French source-repair workpasses, machine-assisted English and Spanish translations, source witnesses, build evidence, and audit material for SGA 5 and SGA 6. The record also directly exposes 02b_SGA5_Spanish_SourceReconciled_WorkingTranslation_Through_ExposeXV_Prop1_NotCritical_20260718.pdf, the new 296-page Spanish checkpoint; 02_SGA6_English_FullRange_Layered_WorkingReader_CORRECTED_20260718.pdf, the corrected 381-page SGA 6 English reader; and 01_SGA6_French_SourceRescribe_Workpass_NotCertified_idx684_20260718.pdf, the current 374-page French SGA 6 source-rescribe checkpoint. SGA 5 Spanish update: this version replaces the earlier checkpoint through Expose X with a 345-unit, 296-page source-reconciled working reader. It integrates complete Exposes I, III A, III B, V, VI, VII, VIII, X, and XII, then Expose XV through section 2, no. 1 and the complete proof of Proposition 1 on Frobenius correspondences. The expanded TeX target is bound by SHA-256, a clean build reports zero forbidden diagnostics, and pages 290-296 passed hash-bound Poppler inspection. The next ordered cursor is Expose XV section 2, Proposition 2 at French authority line 14682. Later live-workspace drafts are excluded from this release. SGA 6 English authority layers: source-PDF 001-525 uses an inherited English control that is partially source-synchronized but not globally source-checked; idx532-662 is source-checked against the directly checked French workpass available for that range; idx663-702 and terminal matter are scan-checked English draft layers pending later French reconciliation. The bounded Spanish SGA 6 Expose X tranche for idx532-537 is retained. French workpasses: the SGA 6 linear pagewise pass remains frozen at public idx684 / volume p. 671 / Expose XIV p. 5. The French SGA 5 workpass remains an authority layer with explicit caveats. Their grouped ZIPs retain editable TeX, ledgers, source witnesses, render checks, compile evidence, and checksums. Status: these are substantive machine-assisted, source-aware working editions and translations, not OCR-only output. They are not independently human-certified critical editions, complete SGA translations, whole-volume source-faithfulness certifications, publication-grade proofread editions, or diagram-by-diagram certifications. Known and unknown mathematical or diagram errors may remain. Corrections can be proposed through the GitHub mirror.
