Flavonoids from Rhododendron nivale Hook ameliorated alcohol associate liver disease via activating the PPAR signaling pathway

Flavonoids, appreciated for their powerful antioxidant properties, are gaining recognition in the treatment of alcoholic liver disease (ALD). Flavonoids extracted from Rhododendron nivale Hook. f. (FRN) have demonstrated their ability to modulate glutathione metabolism in aging animal models and present antioxidant capabilities. However, the exact influence of FRN on alcohol-associated liver disease is yet to be fully explored.
