To identify downstream genes of Lotus japonicus IRON MAN 1 (LjIMA1) and LjIMA2 genes, we conducted RNA-seq analysis using Lotus japonicus MG20 wild-type plants that had transgenic hairy roots carrying control, LjUBQpro:LjIMA1 or LjUBQpro:LjIMA2 constructs. Whorl roots were collected 5 days after rhizobial inoculation.
