Market share of plug-in hybrid electric cars in Norway 2016-2023

In 2023, roughly eight percent of the cars sold in Norway were plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). Overall, electric vehicles accounted for 90.4 percent of car sales in Norway in 2023. That year, the country added over 10,100 plug-in hybrid electric cars and about 104,000 all-electric cars to its fleet.
