The datasets are briefly illustrated as follows:1_ Outdoor climate-heating test: Outdoor air temperature and solar radiation during the heating test of the system.2_ A typical heating cycle: Greenhouse climate and system operating parameters within a typical heating cycle.3_ Heating effect 1: Nighttime climate inside the experimental greenhouse during the heating test.4_ Heating effect 2: Average nighttime air temperature inside the experimental greenhouse with and without the heating.5_ Temporal distribution: Temporal distribution of nighttime air temperatures in the experimental greenhouse.6_ Spatial distribution: Spatial distribution of nighttime air temperatures in the experimental greenhouse.7_ Thermal performance 1: The experimental greenhouse climate and system operating parameters under different weather conditions.8_ Thermal performance 1: The experimental greenhouse climate and system operating parameters during continuous low radiation days.9_ Outdoor climate-cooling test: Outdoor air temperature and solar radiation during the cooling test of the system.10_ A typical cooling process: Greenhouse climate and system operating parameters within a typical cooling process.11_ Cooling efficiency: Cooling efficiency of the system.12_ Water consumption: Water consumption rate of the system and VPD of the outdoor air.13_ Additional cooling effect 1: Cooling effect of the SHVS combined with side vents. Data are from July 9, 2025, when side vents were open during system operation.14_ Additional cooling effect 2: Cooling effect of the SHVS with thermal blankets for emergency shading. Data are from August 30, 2023, when half of the south roof was covered with thermal blankets and the side vents were opened for indoor hot air exhaust between 11:00 and 14:00.
