Model and code underlying the publication: "Cohesive Sediment Affects Sand Wave Formation"

This repository contains the 2DV sand wave model to analyse the impact of cohesive sediment on sand wave dynamics, as described in the publication "Cohesive Sediment Affects Sand Wave Dynamics" (Ploeg et al., 2026). In this study, the model is applied to study the interaction between cohesive sediment and sand wave formation using a linear stability analysis. The result presented in this publication can be generated by consecutively running all scripts in the folder "Outputs/Paper1".
