Borghi e Scuole rurali nell'Italia fascista: uno sguardo al Salento

The work presented here aims to illustrate the results of a research, still in progress, conducted on first-hand sources for a reconstruction and mapping of rural school buildings in Salento during the Fascist Era; these are constructions that cannot fail to be considered 'cultural assets'. Rural schools are part of a more in- depht project (working progress), that aims to highlight regime teaching and the small communities in villages and suburbs.
