Replication Code for: The Hidden Discount: Examining Racial Disparity in the Use of Suspended Sentences

This repository contains replication code for Petersen, Johnson, Redlich, and Galvin's article titled "The Hidden Discount: Examining Racial Disparity in the Use of Suspended Sentences". The .R file contains code used to clean the data set and generate figures/tables. The .do file contains code used to conduct the analyses. The data set is publicly available for request through the Maryland State Commission on Criminal Sentencing Policy website.
