资源简介:

The B-tree tree diversity experiment was established in 2013 consisting of monocultures and mixtures of maple (Acer platanoides L.; Ap), lime (linden, basswood; Tilia cordata Mill.; Tc), hornbeam (Carpinus betulus L.; Cb) and oak (Quercus robur L.; Qr). In 2021 Root, stem and leaf parameters was measured. The following data was collected. DBH and tree biomass, crown dimensions, leaf area, leaf biomass and LAI, course and fine root biomass. Detailed information can be found in the Read me file. Data used in Werner, R., Gasser, L. T., Steinparzer, M., Mayer, M., Ahmed, I. U., Sandén, H., ... & Rewald, B. (2024). Early overyielding in a mixed deciduous forest is driven by both above-and below-ground species-specific acclimatization. Annals of Botany, 134(6), 1077-1096. doi.org/10.1093/aob/mcae150 The Studie was funded by Austrian science fund FWF trough the Biodivers EU project Mixed Forest plantations for climate Change mitigation (MixForChange)
