Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1963, Omnibus no. 03

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1963 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1963. A total of 12 surveys were carried out in 1963, but omnibus no. 02 could not be located among the data materials received from the Roper Center. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 03. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1963 omnibuses are: degree of ur- banization; sex; age; marital status; number of persons in house- hold and composition of household; occupational status of head of household and of supporter; income of head of household and total income of family; education of respondent; occupational status of housewife; social group; type of dwelling; and party preference. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #The respondent's attitude to pronouncing 56 as 'femtiseks' (fifty-six) instead of 'seksoghalvtreds' (six-and-fifty), i.e. pronouncing numerals as they are written; the respondent's opinion of the behaviour of the German troops during the German occupation of Denmark in World War II, and in which ways, if any, the respondent found their behaviour worse than one would expect from occupying troops; on which products does the respondent find the consumption tax most inconvenient, and on which products has the respondent decreased consumption due to the new consumption tax; the respondent's attitude to the new 5 kr. and 1 kr. coins; whether the household listened to the radio the day before, and, if so, to which programmes and at what time of the day; whether the radio used is equipped with FM; whether the respondent watched TV the day before and, if so, when; and whether the respondent was at home the evening before (the whole evening or part of it)
