KOREAPMN12014 Env Template 2014 biomass

Sampling data captured in Oceanic Exploration Research Pursuant to Section 10, Appendix II of the Contract for Exploration between the International Seabed Authority and the Government of the Republic of Korea (ISBA/7/C/4), the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries that is the relevant authority of the Government of the Republic of Korea hereby submits to the International Seabed Authority the annual report on the exploration activities in 2014 conducted in accordance with Paragraph 5, Schedule 2 on the Programme of Activities of the Contract for Exploration.
The contractor had performed the geological and geophysical survey with sampling of sediments and nodules, the marine environmental baseline survey in and around the contract area focused on the potential benthic impact experiment and reference sites, and research and development works on mining and processing technologies as a part of its exploration activities in 2014.
