The series consists of reports and correspondence related to license applications and building works for the Holbrook Licensing Districts.The Licensing Act of 1882 (Act No. 26a, 1882) and subsequent amending Acts required licensees to apply to a local licensing court for the renewal or transfer of existing licenses or for the removal of licenses from premises such as hotels, clubs and public bars.
