资源简介:
Roller-compacted concrete (RCC) is increasingly employed in dam construction due to its advantageous properties. This research focuses exclusively on RCC for dam construction and aims to develop and assess non-destructive testing methods for evaluating RCC strength compared to destructive methods. The study involved laboratory experimental tests and field tests conducted at De Hoop and Spring Grove dams.In the laboratory, eight RCC mixtures were prepared and tested, varying in fly ash content (from FA0% to FA75%) and using specific mix designations called 15/38-365 and 20/38-90. Tests included ultrasonic pulse velocity, rebound hammer, and compressive strength measurements. Results from these tests were compiled in a structured spreadsheet, detailing the performance of each mixture under various conditions.Field tests at De Hoop and Spring Grove dams focused on evaluating ultrasonic pulse velocity and rebound hammer readings to assess RCC quality and integrity in situ.
