Avignon - Participatory Vegetation
收藏资源简介:
**Place of implementation of participatory greening.** The city of Avignon, through the operation ‘Avignon, Végétalisons ensemble nos Espaces Publics’, wishes to involve the population in this project to enhance the daily living environment in all areas of the city, thus offering residents the opportunity to plant in front of their homes with the technical support and written authorisation of the municipality. On 30 September 2015, the City voted in favour of the greening of public spaces, proposing a convention that defines the role, responsibility and obligations of each of the actors involved in this approach, while specifying the organisation and techniques used. For several years, this desire to share public space has been illustrated in many cities, both abroad and in France, particularly in Paris, Montreuil, Bordeaux and a few others, each time generating a spirit of solidarity, creativity and conviviality that re-establishes social ties. These initiatives are based on a simple but still innovative idea: trust the inhabitants by delegating to them the management of plants planted in the public space, with commitments respecting the main lines of an environmental charter adopted by cities. Wherever they have been implemented, these green spaces have a multifunctional role in urban areas: enable the creation of social ties and cultural diversity, promote local citizen projects and develop environmental education. We find in this dataset all the sites whose status is "completed". [Visualisation of the dynamic map](http://u.osmfr.org/m/274715/)
