Replication Data for: Mapping urban gullies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

This dataset contains information on mapped cased of urban gullies (UGs), occurring in the Democratic Republic of Congo (ii), information on how many people were likely displaced by the formation and expansion of these UGS as well as how many people live in the direct vicinity of such gullies. More specifically, the dataset includes:
(i) shapefiles of all mapped urban gullies (> 2922 in 26 cities of DRC) as mapped on the reference image, as well as on 1-4 earlier images;
(ii) files related to identifying the factors controlling the occurence of UGs and a logistic regression model to predict urban gully susceptibility at a 1-km² resolution
(iii) shapefiles and excel files related to assessing UG expansion events as well as the population displacement associated with these events;
(iv) shapefiles and excel files related to the definition of UG hazard zones and the calculation of (changes in) exposed population, living in these hazard zones
(v) files related to assessing the uncertainty on the displaced and exposed population
