Necrotizing pneumonia caused by community-acquired methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus having both PVL and TSST-1 genes

We performed genetic analysis of community-associated MRSA strains that caused multiple cases of severe pulmonary inflammation in the family. This strain is a virulent strain that produces both PVL and TSST-1, and is a pathogen that is feared for future epidemics.
