Plasticity is an important mechanism by which species could persist under fluctuating environments. In this project, we investigated experimentally the evolution of phenotypic plasticity in response to environmental predictability. To do so, we assessed the contribution of the genotype, epigenotype and environment to the phenotypic responses following an environmental change. We also compared the molecular responses (DNA methylation and gene expression) to environmental changes of different evolved populations.
