Database_study_Neurofunctional speech therapy and transcranial direct current stimulation in children with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome_9 cases

This dataset comprises anonymized data from a case series of nine children diagnosed with Rubinstein–Taybi Syndrome who underwent a neurofunctional speech therapy intervention combined with transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). The dataset includes clinical, functional, and therapeutic outcome measures collected before and after the intervention, aiming to explore the feasibility, safety, and potential effects of combining neurofunctional speech therapy with non-invasive brain stimulation on communication-related outcomes in this population. This study received approval from the Human Research Ethics Committee (opinion no. 7,241,032; protocol: 76519423.7.0000.5479), in accordance with Resolution No. 466/2012 of the Brazilian National Board of Health, and was registered in the Brazilian Registry of Clinical Trials (ReBEC). All procedures were conducted in a controlled clinical environment. Legal guardians provided written informed consent, and children provided assent when applicable. All personal identifiers were fully removed, and the data are presented in an anonymized format to ensure participant confidentiality. This dataset is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analyses in the fields of neurofunctional rehabilitation, speech therapy, pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders, and non-invasive brain stimulation. The data may be reused for research, educational, and methodological purposes, provided appropriate citation and adherence to ethical principles.
