## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nTo represent the locations of lakes in Gippsland.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nTo represent the locations of lakes in Gippsland\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset has been derived from selecting the major Gippsland waterbodies (lakes and dams) from the Vicmap Hydro database. This includes natural lakes and man-made reservoirs. \n\nVicmap Hydro database ( 158f64d6-26cf-458b-80f4-f27161be2c55) is the parent dataset and ArcGIS was used to select the waterbodies within the Gippsland regional model extent (8e56c1ca-3fe9-4eb6-9ac0-75ba3f4058f8).\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (XXXX) Gippsland mapped lakes.
