Seasonal respiratory virus trends in pediatric patients during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil

The datasets consist of results from RT-qPCR to identify rhinovirus, respiratory syncytial virus, influenza A virus, and adenovirus in samples from symptomatic pediatric patients who tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 during 2021 and 2022. The data include information regarding the various symptoms reported, as well as the necessity for hospitalization or mechanical ventilation. Statistical analyses were conducted and are included in the dataset.
