Mate-pair and targeted exome sequencing of primary and metastatic colorectal cancer of four patients

"In this study we used SOLiD mate-pair sequencing and SOLiD targeted exome sequencing to screen for somatic mutations in genomes of primary colorectal cancer samples and matching liver metastasis from four patients. We included normal control tissue from liver and colon to be able to specifically detect somatic genetic changes. We identified small indels, point mutations and structural changes."
