Human intestinal Thy1+ mesenchymal cells are considered as heterogeneous population. We performed single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to characterize fibroblast populations in the colonic mucosa.Live Thy1 (CD90)+CD45-CD31-EpCAM- cells were isolated from the colonic mucosa of patients with colorectal cancer or ulcerative colitis (UC) by Fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) and used for scRNA-seq analysis.
