The acquisition of data plays a crucial role in enabling robots to perceive and understand their surroundings. Sensor height is a key factor influencing data acquisition quality.In this dataset, we analyze the effect of vertical positioning of LiDAR and RGB cameras in perception tasks on mobile robots\u2014specifically 3D object detection and traversability segmentation\u2014on mobile robotic platforms.To address the limitations of existing datasets, which lack variations in sensor height, we introduce a novel dataset collected using two distinct sensor height configurations in both indoor and outdoor campus environments.We evaluate several methods for 3D Detection and traversable region segmentation in our analyses.
