Sequencing of bacterial diversity associated with salt tolerant plants in the saline-alkali soils of Dongying

This study focuses on the native halophytic vegetation and its saline-alkali rhizosphere soil in the coastal saline-alkali land of the Yellow River Delta. Using high-throughput sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene coupled with bioinformatics analysis, we elucidated the mechanisms by which the native plants,Suaeda glauca, Tamarix chinensis, Artemisia sieversiana, and Setaria viridis, enrich soil bacteria capable of withstanding saline-alkali stress, and revealed the interactions between environmental factors and bacterial diversity.
