Global and Regional Burden of Hearing Loss: A 1990–2021 Epidemiological Analysis Based on GBD Data (Dataset)

This dataset contains the age-standardised prevalence rates of hearing loss for the global total, Western Europe, the United States and China, estimated from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021. Annual counts and rates (per 100,000 population) from 1990 to 2021 are provided, together with 95 % uncertainty intervals. Subgroup estimates by sex, 5-year age band, and geographic entity are included to facilitate trend analyses and modelling studies.
