Digital Archive from a Desk Based Assessment, Geophysical Survey and Watching Brief at Leadenham Landfill Quarry, Welbourn, Lincolnshire, 2017 to 2020

This collection consists of images, GIS, geophysics, and site record data from a desk-based assessment, geophysical survey and watching brief by Archaeology Wales. Work occurred on land near Leadenham quarry site at Welbourn, Lincolnshire between 2017 and 2020. Research identified that the proposed development site contains areas of archaeological interest. The geophysical survey identified three small areas of discrete positive magnetic anomalies outside the limit of the former trench have been interpreted as possibly previously unidentified prehistoric pits or post holes. During the watching brief no significant archaeological finds or features were recorded.
