Mouse gut metagenome

In our study, we described the characterization of microbiota of the colonic mucus of the BABL/c mice, which contain normal control (NC) group, Model group(DSS induced), SASP (0.45 g/kg) group and YJP-A (14.56 g/kg) group with 5 mice in each group. All mice were sacrificed and the colons were cut longitudinally along the mesentery side and washed with PBS solution to remove intestinal contents. Then the intestinal mucus was gently scraped 5 times with sterile slides and collected into the eppendorf tubes.
