Transcriptomic profiling of PBMC reveals immunomodulatory effects of LP-98 treatment in SHIV-infected rhesus macaques (PRJCA041944)

This project investigates the immune responses associated with LP-98, a synthetic lipopeptide, in the treatment of SHIV-infected rhesus macaques. Bulk RNA sequencing was performed on peripheral blood samples from 44 animals, including SHIV-infected untreated controls, LP-98-treated subjects, and healthy controls, to assess global transcriptional changes induced by infection and treatment. In addition, paired single-cell RNA sequencing was conducted on peripheral blood samples collected before and after LP-98 treatment from four rhesus macaques. This dataset enables detailed analysis of LP-98-induced immunomodulation at both the bulk cells and single-cell levels.
