This dataset provides the counts of institutions, graduate institutes and academic departments of tertiary education institutions categorized by type (universities, independent colleges and vocational colleges), excluding military and police tertiary institutions, religious training colleges and the Open University. This dataset takes October 15 of each year as its data reference date.
