Microbiota of Aedes africanus in Cameroon

In this project, we analyzed the microbiota of Aedes africanus collected in Cameroon using both V3-V4 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing and shotgun metagenomics. Our investigation revealed a notable negative correlation between the abundance of Wolbachia and a species of Pantoea. To further explore these findings, we sequenced the genomes of these bacteria using shotgun metagenomic techniques.
